Guangzhou Container Terminal

At the end of August 2021, the intelligent transformation of gantry cranes - collision prevention and correction system - was officially launched and put into operation at Guangzhou Container Terminal. The project was launched in February 2021 and lasted for over six months, completing a series of tasks including project design, system development, on-site installation, and system debugging. This system replaces manual labor to continuously provide reliable RTG collision protection and automatic correction during the operation process, achieving low-cost and reliable correction, and effectively avoiding false triggering. Based on the speed of the large vehicle, different intelligent deceleration and emergency braking controls are implemented according to the type and distance of the target object.
