Good news! One more provincial-level honor for the large-model Intelligent agent!
Release time:
2026-08-17
Recently, the 2026 Fujian Province Comprehensive Transportation Large Model Intelligent Agent Innovation Application Competition concluded successfully. HIRI FUTURE, the artificial intelligence brand under Fujian Electronic Port Co., Ltd., stood out among numerous participating entities across the province with its “Port Full-Process Embodied Intelligent Autonomous Operation Intelligent Agent” project, earning second prize in the competition. This award represents official recognition of HIRI FUTURE’s expertise in developing large models for the port-specific vertical domain and its capability to implement intelligent agents in real-world scenarios.
This project targets high-intensity, high-risk, and high-precision physical operations in port environments, closely aligning with the research and application track of embodied intelligence. Its core scope encompasses four major scenarios: embodied operation of port machinery, collaborative operation among multiple devices, proactive safety management in operational areas, and green, low-carbon operations. Unlike traditional pre-programmed automation solutions, this intelligent agent revolves around the core closed-loop of embodied intelligence—“perception-decision-execution-iteration”—and has established a four-tier technical architecture comprising the “data tier, algorithm tier, application tier, and platform tier.” This has resulted in a port-machinery embodied intelligence system endowed with autonomous environmental perception, autonomous operational decision-making, autonomous motion execution, and autonomous capacity iteration, capable of adapting to the dynamic and complex unstructured operational environments of ports.
Based on data, this Intelligent agent takes its proprietary production data as the core (accounting for 90%), sourced from over 3,500 deployed equipment sets and more than 80 partner ports; supplemented by publicly available data, it has established a data-source system that covers the entire port operation chain and integrates multiple modalities. HIRI FUTURE has already developed 63 standardized, high-quality datasets, covering niche scenarios such as terminal truck guidance, container handling operations, safety protection, information recognition, and equipment status monitoring, achieving full‑dimensional data coverage—from equipment status and operational actions to environmental information.
Currently, HIRI’s Intelligent products have been deployed across China’s core hubs, including Tianjin Port, Guangzhou Port, Ningbo Port, Shenzhen Port, Qingdao Port, Shanghai Port, and Xiamen Port, as well as ports in ASEAN countries such as Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia, and in BRICS nations and Belt and Road–aligned ports like Brazil and Sri Lanka. Many of these ports have already been integrated into the “Silk Road Maritime” Feeder route network. Looking ahead, HIRI FUTURE will continue to deepen the seamless integration of embodied intelligence with port operations, leveraging large models as a foundational layer and fostering collaborative intelligence agents to drive ports from point‑wise automation toward full‑scale autonomous decision‑making, thereby contributing more “China solutions” to the global development of smart ports.

On the afternoon of September 9, Special Forum Four of the 8th “Silk Road Maritime” International Cooperation Forum—the “Silk Road Maritime” Technology Forum—was held in Xiamen. With the theme “AI-Native Intelligent Port—Large Models and Multi-Agent Collaboration to Build a New Paradigm for Fully Autonomous Ports,” the forum brought together industry leaders from port operators, equipment manufacturers, and research institutions at home and abroad, aiming to establish a global platform for exchange on port and shipping technologies and jointly explore new pathways for the digital and Intelligent transformation of ports.
During operations, if a Spreader or the container it is lifting accidentally collides with containers already stacked in the Stack yard, it can trigger an incident commonly referred to as “bowling,” which, through a chain reaction, may result in damage to multiple containers and cargo, and even lead to casualties and operational disruptions—posing serious safety hazards.
Recently, Chen Zhiping, Party Secretary and Chairman of Fujian Port Group, granted an exclusive interview to the renowned host Wu Xiaoli, engaging in a thorough and candid discussion on topics including the smart‑technology development of Fujian ports, their green transformation, the ecosystem‑building efforts of the “Silk Road Maritime” Alliance, and the future direction of first‑class port development.
