2025-01-23

From December 18 to 19, the 2025 Intelligent and Connected Vehicle Industry Collaborative Innovation Development Conference was held in Xiamen. With the theme of “Collaborative Innovation Empowering Industrial Upgrading and Digital Integration Driving High-Quality Development,” the conference facilitated exchanges on collaborative innovation in the intelligent and connected vehicle industry, breakthroughs in key technologies, and the implementation of application scenarios.

Fujian Port Technology Group, as one of the co-organizers, was invited to attend the conference.

At the opening ceremony, the Fujian Provincial Institute of Dual-Use Technology Innovation and the Xiamen Information Association entered into a strategic cooperation, officially signing an agreement on AI-driven innovation in the greater health industry and industrial collaboration. Simultaneously, the Xiamen Center for Collaborative Innovation in Dual-Use Technologies and the Cross-Strait Digital Technology Association Consortium were unveiled.

The conference brought together top industry experts, corporate representatives, and cross-strait industry elites, who engaged in in-depth exchanges on key topics such as digital twins, smart ports, 5G+AI integration, and cross-strait digital economic collaboration, injecting new momentum into the development of the Intelligent Connected Industry.

Wang Zhiyong, Chairman of Fujian Port Science and Technology Group, attended the opening ceremony of the conference.

In exploring cutting-edge approaches to smart port development, Fujian Port Technology Group showcased its strategic positioning as the core platform for the digital, Intelligent, and green, low-carbon transformation of Fujian Port Group. The group is actively pursuing deep integration and innovative applications of前沿 technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and the Internet of Things in areas like port logistics, port-industry-city integration, and supply chain services, with the aim of incubating new business forms and models and injecting sustained momentum into the transformation, upgrading, and high-quality development of the port’s core operations. The group’s AI brand, “HIRI FUTURE,” continues to drive the R&D and practical application of intelligent port technologies. This strategic direction aligns closely with the conference’s vision of building a new generation of green, smart ports that are “unmanned, automated, and Intelligent,” reflecting the industry trend of using technological innovation to drive fundamental changes in port operations.

Dr. Xue Wangxing, Director of the R&D Center at Fujian Electronic Port Co., Ltd. (brand: HIRI FUTURE), shared “Application Practices of Large AI Models and Intelligent Agents in Smart Ports” at the conference.

He explained that port operations are currently undergoing a critical transformation from traditional “experience-driven” management to modern “data-driven” operations. The HIRI FUTURE–developed, in-house port foundational large model, with its tens of billions of parameters and unified visual architecture at its core, innovatively establishes a data closed-loop of “perception-decision-optimization-iteration” in complex port scenarios. It not only supports the “embodied intelligence” of individual devices, such as “L4-level intelligent loading and unloading robots,” but also propels the overall port operation from “point intelligence” to “system intelligence,” empowering large-scale port machinery to achieve the capacity for “self-perception, autonomous decision-making, and continuous evolution.” This practice marks the deepening evolution of port intelligentization into a new, data- and AI-driven, holistic “intelligent” stage, providing the industry with a replicable and scalable technology-driven model.

In the exhibition area of the conference, “HIRI FUTURE” showcased its full-stack AI solutions, demonstrating the deep integration of large-scale AI models and multi-modal perception technologies in real and complex port scenarios. This endows large port machinery with highly human-like operational capabilities and autonomous evolutionary potential, highlighting the technology group’s technical strength in AI-driven smart port construction.

This conference has established an important platform for industrial collaboration. Fujian Port Technology Group and “HIRI FUTURE” will continue to deepen their expertise in the field of smart ports, leveraging continuous technological breakthroughs and scenario innovation to drive the transformation of port operation models and contribute more “Fujian wisdom” to the intelligent and green transformation and upgrading of China’s port and shipping logistics industry.
