Deepening Cooperation | Fujian Port Technology Group Visits Zhenhua Technology for Technical Exchange
Release time:
2026-05-18
On May 9, Wei Qiuxin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Fujian Port Science and Technology Group, led a delegation to Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Zhenhua Technology) for a technical exchange symposium. Li Wei, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Zhenhua Technology, attended the meeting and participated in the discussions.
The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on key issues such as the smart port automation upgrade, the renovation of existing Quays, and the integrated application of AI technologies, forging a consensus on cooperation and jointly exploring new pathways for industrial upgrading, thereby laying a solid foundation for further deepening business synergy and jointly expanding both domestic and international markets.
During the symposium, Wei Qiuxin briefly outlined the development positioning and industrial layout of Fujian Port Technology Group. As the core platform of Fujian Port Group for advancing digitalization, Intelligent technologies, and green, low-carbon development, the technology group is fully committed to building a port‑related science and technology innovation system, actively exploring cutting‑edge technological applications in areas such as port logistics, port‑industry‑city integration, and supply chain services, thereby injecting sustained momentum into the transformation, upgrading, and high‑quality development of the port’s core business. In addition, he highlighted the AI‑based technical solutions and practical results achieved by the group’s “HIRI FUTURE” brand in the field of port automation.
He stated that, leveraging its self-developed industry-specific large model for the port sector, HIRI FUTURE’s AI vision solutions have achieved excellent results in key operational scenarios such as truck alignment correction, collision prevention, container number recognition, and terminal tractor positioning. The comprehensive intelligent port solution it has developed boasts significant advantages, including low cost, easy deployment, maintenance-free operation, and support for remote online iterative upgrades. Currently, the company has innovatively developed over 40 AI products, serving more than 80 ports both domestically and internationally, with cumulative deliveries of over 3,500 intelligent systems. Its market coverage is broad, application penetration is deep, and it has earned widespread recognition from industry clients. As a global leader in the port machinery industry, Zhenhua Heavy Industries has established end-to-end, independently controllable capabilities—spanning core electrical control systems, Intelligent equipment manufacturing, and the full-scale delivery of automated Quays. It stands as a model for us to learn from, and we look forward to drawing valuable experience and elevating our technical expertise through future cooperation.
Zhenhua Technology expresses strong recognition of the “HIRI FUTURE” brand’s efforts in deeply integrating AI with port operations. Li Wei, Party Secretary and General Manager of Zhenhua Technology, stated that the port industry is currently undergoing rapid transformation through extensive upgrades, accelerating its shift from traditional operational models to comprehensive smart‑operation systems. The market holds vast potential, yet the process of upgrading and transformation still faces numerous challenges and uncertainties. With deep expertise in port system software, equipment manufacturing, electrical control systems, and project implementation, Zhenhua Technology looks forward to forging in-depth cooperation with HIRI FUTURE in areas such as AI algorithms, visual recognition, and large‑model applications. The two parties’ technological roadmaps are highly aligned; by leveraging Zhenhua’s standardized interfaces for port cranes and its unified technical architecture, they can achieve seamless integration and deep fusion with HIRI FUTURE’s AI system, jointly developing an integrated smart‑port solution tailored to various Quays.
This symposium has further strengthened the foundation of cooperation, clarified the pathways for collaboration, and laid a solid groundwork for subsequent joint technological R&D, pilot project implementation, and coordinated market expansion.
Zhenhua Technology’s Deputy General Manager, along with relevant heads from the Marketing Department, the Electric Control Institute, the Production Management Department, the Software Institute, and other related units, attended the meeting.
