In December 2020, the Gantry Collision Prevent System was officially implemented at Haixiang. Utilizing advanced artificial intelligence technology, the system identifies the categories and distances of common targets at the terminal—such as people, vehicles, and equipment. It can accurately estimate the type, distance, and motion trends of obstacles within a 15-meter range, effectively preventing false triggers and meeting the requirements for gantry collision prevention. Based on the speed of the gantry, the system can implement different intelligent deceleration and emergency braking controls according to the type and distance of the target object, thereby ensuring the safety of personnel working in the port area.
