The Fujian regional finals of the "Data Element ×" competition have concluded, and HIRI FUTURE has achieved outstanding results!
Release time:
2025-11-08
Recently, the Fujian regional awards ceremony for the 2025 “Data Elements ×” Competition—sponsored jointly by 18 provincial-level departments including the Fujian Provincial Data Administration and guided by the National Data Administration—was held in Fuzhou. The project "R&D System for High-Quality Datasets of Specialized Large Models for Port and Shipping," submitted by Fujian Electronic Port Co., Ltd. (brand: HIRI FUTURE), won the second prize in the Open Innovation Track.
It is reported that the Fujian regional competition ultimately selected 133 outstanding data application projects across 14 tracks, including financial services, industrial manufacturing, transportation, technological innovation, and open innovation. These projects were awarded as follows: 28 first-place awards, 30 second-place awards, 40 third-place awards, and 35 excellence awards. The winning projects demonstrate broad industry coverage, strong practical applicability, and high levels of technological innovation. They focus on the development and utilization of industry-specific data resources, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and the Internet of Things to accelerate the exploration of data-driven applications, thereby boosting digital transformation across various industries and showcasing the immense potential of data elements in empowering industrial upgrades.
Background of the HIRI FUTURE Award-Winning Project
As a core node of global logistics, ports have long been plagued by industry challenges such as low operational efficiency, insufficient intelligent scheduling, and high safety risks. In traditional operating models, data from various links—including loading and unloading, transportation, and storage—are isolated, creating "data silos" that make comprehensive optimization difficult. The operation of heavy machinery relies heavily on manual labor, and inadequate sensing capabilities hinder the implementation of unmanned operations. High labor costs and equipment wear and tear further exacerbate operational pressures. To address these challenges, HIRI FUTURE has independently developed and built an intelligent data system that covers the entire process—from perception to decision-making, optimization, and reasoning.
The project leverages four key technological pillars—multimodal data integration, a self-developed annotation toolchain, distributed data version management, and an intelligent algorithm matrix—to seamlessly connect the entire workflow from loading and unloading to transportation and storage, enabling cross-system collaboration. This approach achieves comprehensive data integration across all port processes, reduces annotation costs, enhances data security and control, and provides intelligent operational support. As a result, the project has successfully broken down data silos and is driving the transformation of port operations from "equipment automation" to "system intelligence."
Project Advantages
01 Technological Architecture Innovation
Pioneering a four-layer data closed-loop system—“Perception-Decision-Optimization-Iteration”—to provide end-to-end support from data collection to operational optimization.
02 Innovative Annotation Tools
We were the first to apply weak-supervised learning techniques to port scenarios, developing an automated annotation toolchain that increased annotation efficiency fivefold and reduced costs by 80%.
03 Algorithm Model Innovation
Breaking through the limitations of traditional single-modal visual perception, we innovatively integrate large-scale AI models with multi-modal sensors (including vision, LiDAR, inertial navigation, and others) to build a three-dimensional cognitive system for environmental perception in port lifting equipment. We have achieved nationwide localization and adaptation—from core algorithms to front-end hardware.
04 Business Process Innovation
Addressing the need for end-to-end automation in ports, and guided by the closed-loop approach of “perception-decision-optimization-iteration,” we have independently developed 63 high-quality sub-datasets covering key scenarios. Combined with advanced algorithmic models and a platform-based management system, we provide comprehensive end-to-end support—from data collection to practical implementation—for unmanned operations in ports.
05 Compatibility Innovation
Supports mainstream equipment vendors such as Sugon and Siemens, and can seamlessly integrate with port management systems like TOS and ECS.
Leveraging its outstanding technological prowess and innovative solutions, HIRI FUTURE's products and systems have been deployed in over 80 large-scale ports both domestically and internationally, with more than 3,000 sets installed. These systems serve core domestic ports such as Tianjin Port, Guangzhou Port, Ningbo Port, and Xiamen Port, as well as regions along the Belt and Road—including Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Brazil—and BRICS countries, giving HIRI FUTURE extensive practical experience in the field of smart port operations.
In the future, we will continue to deepen the practical application of our “R&D System for High-Quality Datasets for Port and Shipping Domain-Specific Large Models,” driving the smart transformation of ports from “isolated breakthroughs” toward “holistic collaboration” and helping more ports achieve data-driven intelligent operations.
