New Quality Productivity | Launch of the New HIRI-Box!
Release time:
2025-10-04
In September 2023, during his inspection and research tour in Heilongjiang, General Secretary Xi Jinping first introduced the concept of “new-quality productivity.” On January 31, 2024, at the 11th collective study session of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Xi Jinping emphasized accelerating the development of new-quality productivity and steadily promoting high-quality development.
New-quality productive forces are driven primarily by innovation, breaking away from traditional modes of economic growth and paths of productivity development. They are characterized by high technology, high efficiency, and high quality, and represent an advanced form of productive forces that align with the new development philosophy. General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that in developing new-quality productive forces, we must promptly apply the fruits of scientific and technological innovation to specific industries and industrial chains.

HIRI FUTURE Takes the Lead in Intelligence
Major New Product: HIRI-Box
Support the intelligent development and construction of ports.
I. Introduction to the New Product
The HIRI FUTURE AI Edge Intelligence Unit integrates AI algorithms with intelligent control, enabling "remote configuration and plug-and-play." While saving manpower and material resources, it significantly boosts the efficiency of intelligent upgrades.
II. Adaptation Function
Utilizing AI-powered visual classification and detection, we identify various targets along the large vehicle’s travel path. Based on factors such as the vehicle’s direction of travel and its distance from obstacles, we define reasonable deceleration and stopping zones to minimize the impact of sudden stops and other issues on equipment performance. Through intelligent algorithms, we dynamically plan virtual zones within the vehicle’s operating range, thereby implementing collision-avoidance control strategies tailored to each vehicle’s specific travel direction.
By identifying multi-dimensional information about the container truck, such as the hub, tires, and frame, we can comprehensively assess the risk of the container truck being lifted. We can then intervene promptly and appropriately, taking control of the equipment to restrict its lifting movements and thereby prevent accidents caused by the container truck being lifted.
Using OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology, various types of operational information are recognized, such as container numbers, container types, container door orientations, container condition indicators, weight limit markings, as well as truck numbers, license plate numbers, and chassis numbers. This system supports information recognition across various operational scenarios—from port gateways and yard entrances to Quay Crane and Container Handling operations.
In addition to the adaptations for intelligent anti-collision for large vehicles, anti-lift protection for container trucks, and OCR information recognition, the HIRI-Box can also be adapted for functions such as intelligent anti-sway for spreaders, intelligent container truck positioning, container truck anti-crushing, detection of undetached twist locks, intelligent identification of single and double containers, and automatic container handling.
