Ask
After the establishment of Fujian Port Technology Group, what advantages does it have in terms of resource integration?
Port Technology Group has integrated eight technology-based enterprises under its umbrella. These eight companies serve various sectors within ports across the province and even nationwide. Port Informatization Field We have an independently developed container terminal production system, a bulk and general cargo terminal production system, and an integrated big data platform, among other things. Intelligent Port Sector We have an L4-level intelligent loading and unloading robot with fully independent intellectual property rights—a fully automated and intelligent integrated system for the entire machine. Greening of the port sector We have installed over 54 megawatts of green power, generating more than 60 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, and have already built several zero-carbon port zones... The integration of Fujian Port Technology Group aims to pool the strengths of its various affiliated technology companies, thereby better serving ports across the province, the entire country, and even the world.
Ask
As an independent technology brand of Fujian Port Group, what kind of development achievements has HIRI FUTURE made in recent years?
The HIRI FUTURE Artificial Intelligence team was established in 2019. The team is dedicated to research on core algorithms in artificial intelligence. All core algorithms and core technologies are independently developed. Relying on our robust R&D and innovation capabilities, we have achieved cutting-edge academic breakthroughs in the field of artificial intelligence—over 20 such publications—and hold more than 70 software copyrights and invention patents. Moreover, over 40 intelligent products developed entirely in-house have already been deployed at more than 70 ports and terminals worldwide, totaling over 2,500 sets of equipment. We can proudly say that wherever there’s an automated terminal, you’ll find our products.
Relying on the independent technology brand HIRI FUTURE, We have solved several “bottleneck” challenges in the field of port automation. In the early days, China’s port automation heavily relied on foreign technology. We have overcome a series of technical challenges, achieving full intellectual property rights and independent control. As a result, the cost of automation upgrades has been significantly reduced, and efficiency has markedly improved. Relying on these research achievements, we... We have continuously undertaken research projects commissioned by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China and have stood out among numerous enterprises to achieve outstanding results. . Meanwhile, our products and solutions have also received authoritative certification from the China Academy of Electronic Technology Standardization.
The original intention behind the establishment of the HIRI FUTURE brand was to better serve the intelligent transformation and upgrading of traditional ports. As the concept of “AI + Industry” continues to evolve and transform, artificial intelligence technology has found increasingly widespread applications across various industries, and we will continue to adhere to this approach. The “One Main Business, Multiple Industries” Development Strategy — Primarily serving the port industry, while also providing services to... Various industries including railway transportation, petrochemicals, ecological farming, and mining & metallurgy. Our AI solutions have already been validated across multiple industries, and we will continue to expand their applicability to even more industry scenarios in the future.
Ask
I just mentioned the L4-level intelligent loading and unloading robot. Could you give us a brief introduction to it?
By leveraging cutting-edge large-model technology, we’ve further enhanced the automation level of port equipment. We’ve developed the world’s first L4-level intelligent loading and unloading robot. Achieved a 100% fully automated rate for the entire workflow. It requires absolutely no manual intervention—indeed, we’re even planning to remove the handles from the remote control consoles. This may seem incredible within the industry. But our goal is to eliminate human involvement entirely, even in the final stage of automation. Right now, many terminals achieve an automation level of 90% or 95%, whereas we aim to reach 100%. This is precisely the specific direction we’re pursuing in our R&D efforts.
