Tech Boosts Safety | You Won't Believe This! Can Large Vessels at Ports Also Achieve Autonomous Driving?
Release time:
2025-06-13
Vehicle positioning, navigation, and correction
It's a technology we're all familiar with.
Widely used in passenger vehicles.
When these technologies come to the large trucks at the port terminals,
What kind of sparks will fly this time?
HIRI FUTURE is in By fully leveraging AI visual recognition technology in conjunction with the Beidou satellite-based positioning and navigation system, we’ve enabled large vehicles at port terminals to possess Autonomous driving capabilities—positioning and navigation, path correction, and cross-road transitions. Active Collision Prevention (Click to view the Gantry Collision Prevent System) Wait—comprehensively enhance the automation level of ports and help achieve a new leap in safe port operations and production.
Large Vehicle Positioning and Correction System
HIRI FUTURE has independently developed a large-vehicle positioning and correction system. The system uses high-definition cameras to capture footage of large vehicles in motion, and employs a high-performance AI recognizer and the BDS Beidou satellite positioning and navigation system. *, Real-time detection of the large vehicle’s travel posture, determination of its current location, the extent and direction of any deviation, and implementation of controls to slow down, stop, and correct the vehicle’s steering. Achieve precise positioning and navigation for large vehicles, as well as straight and stable driving routes.
The system also supports large vehicles. Automatic berthing (automatic battery swap when entering or leaving the yard), Automatic crossing and automatic transfer (from the current yard to the opposite/adjacent yard via Autonomous driving) Wait Functionality that enables the transition from manned equipment to fully automated “unmanned” robots.
* Note: In addition to the BDS BeiDou Satellite Navigation System, it also supports GNSS “Five-Star Sixteen-Frequency,” which encompasses China’s BDS, the U.S. GPS, Europe’s GALILEO, Russia’s GLONASS, and Japan’s QZSS—totaling five satellite navigation systems. The receiver can process signals from sixteen frequency channels.
Core System Advantages
01
Lower cost
Traditional solutions require positioning aids such as sliding contact lines, ground magnetic nails, and signal amplification antennas, which are difficult to install, slow to implement, and suffer from reduced reliability over time; HIRI FUTURE By simply leveraging algorithms to enhance the native camera of a device, stable and reliable distortion correction can be achieved at low cost. 。
02
Better standard
The standard for large vehicle correction required by mainstream industries is within 5 centimeters. HIRI FUTURE’s visual solution, whether at high or low speeds, The deviation correction standard can all be kept within 3 centimeters. , the standard for corrective protection is higher.
03
More reliable
Modeling and debugging based on extensive port data, integrating machine autonomous learning capabilities. Achieves highly reliable steering correction and protection—even in conditions such as damaged ground markings or overgrown grass, it can still perform stable and dependable steering correction.
04
Dual redundancy
Dual-redundant AI vision solution and traditional solution When satellite signals are blocked or失效, the AI vision solution can still independently perform positioning, navigation, and correction and protection. Even when ground markings are missing or damaged and cannot be recognized by visual systems, traditional solutions can still independently carry out positioning, navigation, and correction and protection.
05
Lightweight installation
The control algorithm is integrated into the host computer. Control of the device and PLC modifications can be minimized. Reduce the impact of automation upgrades on existing facilities and systems.
