Visual Final Landing System (VFLS)

It is an Intelligent Spreader guidance system based on multimodal sensor fusion. Leveraging advanced computer vision technology, it reuses only the CCTV camera mounted on the Spreader and, with a dedicated visual foundation model, achieves full-process automation—from container placement at the first tier to stacking at higher tiers.

Core capacity:
HIRI VFLS, a lightweight vision model dedicated to port applications, achieves joint semantic and spatial perception capabilities.
Minimalist hardware + algorithmic compensation, requiring only the reuse of the Spreader’s existing CCTV camera.
Supports primary/secondary guidance for dual 20-foot containers during containerization.

 

Product Features:
Minimalist hardware
It only requires reusing the four existing CCTV cameras on the Spreader, eliminating the need for additional LiDAR or multi-camera arrays, thereby significantly reducing hardware costs and system complexity.
High-precision positioning
By integrating semantic and spatial perception technologies, it achieves centimeter-level positioning accuracy for the Spreader at high altitudes and millimeter-level accuracy near the container, meeting the requirements for full-process automation.
 

Strong scene adaptability
A specialized visual model trained on extensive real-world port data maintains stable recognition and localization performance even in challenging scenarios such as strong lighting, shadows, container corrosion, and stacking interference.
Easy maintenance
By adopting front-end fusion technology and a unified coordinate system, the system avoids multi-sensor calibration drift, ensuring high Stability and low maintenance costs.
Full-process support
It covers the entire Operation Procedure, from container placement on the first tier to stacking containers on higher tiers and precise container handling, supporting single- or double-guidance for 20-foot containers and adapting to diverse operational needs.
