Spreader Detection System

It is a high-precision Intelligent Perception System specially designed for Rail-mounted Gantry Cranes in railway stack yards. The system takes visual sensors (cameras) and inertial measurement units (IMUs) as the core detection devices, and is equipped with a high-performance AI edge controller to achieve real-time, dynamic, multi-dimensional monitoring of the Spreader’s spatial attitude, thereby supporting precise positioning and safe control of the Spreader in complex railway operation scenarios.

Real-time multi-dimensional pose parameter detection

 

Large-car directional translation detection: It measures in real time the translation deviation of the Spreader along the Rail (large-car direction) relative to the preset reference position, adapting to railway track irregularities and operational micro-movements.

Trolley directional translation detection: Real-time monitoring of the horizontal displacement of the Spreader along the main girder (trolley direction) to ensure precise alignment of the Spreader above the container.

Horizontal rotation angle detection: It detects the horizontal rotation angle of the Spreader around the vertical axle in real time, ensuring the accurate positioning posture of the container.

High-altitude positioning stage: After the Spreader is lifted to a safe height, the system achieves centimeter-level positioning accuracy (±3cm), quickly stabilizes the Spreader, and prepares for container dropping. Near-container alignment stage: When the Spreader approaches the container or the target stacking position, the system switches to sub-centimeter perception mode (±10mm), supporting precise operations for high-level stacking.
