Spreader Detection System

It is a high-precision Intelligent sensing system specially designed for rail-mounted gantry cranes in stack yards. Centered around visual sensors (cameras) and an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), the system is equipped with a high-performance AI edge controller, enabling real-time, dynamic, multi-dimensional monitoring of the Spreader’s spatial orientation and posture, thereby supporting precise positioning and safe control of the Spreader in complex railway operating environments.

Hierarchical Control of Spatial Positioning Accuracy

High-altitude positioning phase: After the Spreader is lifted to a safe height, the system achieves centimeter-level positioning accuracy (±3 cm), quickly stabilizing the Spreader in preparation for container placement. Near-container alignment phase: As the Spreader approaches the container or the target stacking position, the system switches to sub-centimeter-level sensing mode (±10 mm), enabling precise operations for high-level stacking.
