Anti-crush front-end system
It is an Intelligent Active Protection System designed to ensure the safety of RMG operations in railway stack yards. Tailored to the unique conditions of railway stack yards—where road and rail traffic coexist, lanes are fixed, and workspaces are narrow—the system employs multi‑view visual monitoring and laser‑assisted sensing to continuously scan the position of truck cabs beneath the Spreader. It intelligently assesses collision risks during the Spreader’s descent and implements tiered early warnings and proactive intervention controls, thereby preventing serious accidents such as “truck cab strikes” caused by visual blind spots, operator error, or abnormal vehicle movement.
Core Functional Advantages
Intelligent lane assignment mechanism:
The corresponding high-precision anti-crushing Trolley head monitoring is automatically activated only when the RMG Trolley enters the preset card lane operating area.
Front-end anti-smashing detection:
- Intelligent lane differentiation: The system automatically identifies the type of operational lane (railway track/highway lane/crossing area) and loads the corresponding protection model.
- Deep feature recognition for vehicle fronts: Equipped with built-in feature databases for mainstream container trucks, railway locomotives, and flatcars, achieving an accuracy rate of ≥99.5%.
- Real-time pose estimation: outputs the tractor’s position (±30 mm), detects whether there are obstacles beneath the Spreader, and monitors for any abnormal movement of the container truck.
Multi-sensor fusion redundancy:
Vision-based with laser verification: Vision handles recognition and classification, while the laser provides critical distance verification, ensuring dual redundancy.
