External Container Truck Automatic Unloading System

The external container truck automatic unloading system is a system that enables quay cranes to automate the unloading of containers for inbound container trucks, and it is a critical link in operations between the terminal and external container trucks.

The system uses multi-line lasers mounted on the side saddle beam to position the outer container truck frame and scan its contour, then sends the difference between the acquired position of the outer container truck frame and the real-time position of the Spreader to the actuator.

The system detects and confirms in real time the status of the container on the trailer and its spatial relative position to the Spreader, thereby adjusting the Spreader to place the container onto the external terminal tractor.
